Description

BROOCH,  mid 19 century,  an open crescent set with sapphires spaced by pairs of rose
cut diamonds,  the brooch in an unhallmarked yellow metal.
The brooch is grain set with eleven sapphires,  the centre stone measuring 5.52mm x 4.52mm
(ca 0.57ct) and the remainder graduating in sizes (0.29ct),  (0.10ct) etc to a single oval sapphire
